Brett and Julie- Wedded Bliss

Alright everyone! The long awaited Brett and Julie photos have arrived! Sorry it's taken me so long to get them edited and blogged! It was such a lovely day and I had the most wonderful assistant, Jenny Marvin and the whole day went pretty smoothly! (Except for the part where my flash malfunctioned and my awesome friend Matt happened to have brought his flash, the exact same one I had been using! :) Matt saves the day. :)

Julie was glowing all morning while she was getting ready to marry the man she loves and Brett was looking pretty stellar himself!

Brett and Julie painted a picture of the mountains together instead of pouring sand or lighting a unity candle. It was very fun and turned out so nice!

Julie and some of her friends kickbox! Good thing Brett and the boys were behaving most of the day... ;)

Chick-fil-a die-hards right here. :)

The reception was held inside of a big barn that has been converted for parties and such. There was lots of room for dancing and grooving.
And....everyone meet the BLSGIL Sheep! This little furry friend of the "Best Little Small Group in Longmont" is a world traveler and happens to be the BLSGIL mascot. He was an important character in this day!
And introducing...BLSGIL! The group plays kickball, and if you remember Brett and Julie's engagement session, they met that way! We had to break out the shirts for Julie on her special day.

So, of course, since Brett and Julie fell in love on the kickball field, we had to play a little at the wedding! Go Julie, Go!

Then it was time for them to make their exit!

Congratulations and MANY MANY happy years to you both! You are so dear to my heart!

Tara- Maternity

Miss Tara was looking good at 37 weeks when we shot these photos and sweet little Lucy was born only 6 days later!

We went to Boulder Creek, and a place near Boulder Falls and then over to the Pearl Street Mall which was hoppin' with people! I was so impressed with how Tara was not shy about having her picture taken in front of everyone. Way to go mama!

Tara and her hubby Adam are so fun! I had a blast working with them!

And just because it's really sweet...

Update on the maternity session...

Well, I had a maternity session scheduled for last Thursday, but my client's hubby is finishing up his semester at school and felt like he would be way less stressed if we waited until he was finished.

So, this Friday- weather permitting- we are going to go to Boulder Creek and Chautauqua to shoot. I'm excited to use the new Canon 5D MkII!

Until then...

Exciting Times

Well, I'm importing the photos from Crissy and Kevin's wedding to Lightroom....getting excited to see how they turned out!

Tomorrow, I was going to do a maternity session, but my client's hubby is just finishing up his last week of school and felt like he would be super stressed if we tried to cram a photo shoot in the middle of that. No stress needed!! I gladly rescheduled with them for next week! I'm excited! We have plans to shoot in the evening, after it's cooled off a bit and so we can hopefully catch some beautiful mountain sunset action! (We'll see if the weather cooperates!) I plan to shoot with our new 5D MkII.

I'll be posting wedding pictures soon. Keep your eyes peeled!

Cheers-
Tiffanie

New Beginnings.

Welcome to tmm.photography blog!

As some of you may know...I, Tiffanie and my husband, Sid are both aspiring to be somebodies. :) Somebodies in the creative world, in the film and photography industry!

I am Tiffanie.
I work at a dental office assisting a fantastic doctor, and I love it.
But I want more.

I think it's ok to want more too. :)

My goal is to continue my career in the dental field and do photography on the side. :) Perfect combo.

My husband is Sid.
He is currently freelancing, trying to get his business off the ground.
It's called Postmay.

Postmay is a production company and he's agreed to let me come in on the photography side! How exciting! I will post things to his company website, and help him with production stills when possible and we will also work together on networking and helping one another find clients. (Which we already do, even before he agreed to let me tag along on his name!)

I'm excited to see what is in store for my hubby and I in the future!

So far, we've rented or borrowed equipment as needed, but we've taken the dive and purchased a Canon 5D MkII along with a 24-70 2.8 lens and a 70-200 2.8!! This was a fabulous choice because this spectacular camera not only shoots still photos, it's a full frame HD video camera as well. Sid has already filmed a few projects with one of these beauties and each time I am amazed at the quality it produces. I can't wait to get my hands on it for photography!

Alright, so let's get down to business and start posting photos! Stay tuned...
